Self Care After the Holidays

Does anyone else get to this time of year and feel 100% worn out?  We want to start the year fresh and full of energy but the Holiday season can be exhausting! A little bit of self-care can go a long way to get that “fresh New Year” feeling!

Start with some calming chamomile.  It’s loved by herbalists for its ability to relax, help with nervous tension, and bring back balance.  Chamomile can be used topically like in our Chamomile Rose Facial Steam, internally in delicious tea like Stress Support and Dream Time and in the air with Dream Time Pillow Mist.  

Chamomile is often used in natural sleep products.  Getting quality sleep is a huge part of self-care that too many people overlook. Aim for at least 8 hours a night.  Make sure to take time to unwind, get off screens, and relax before bed to enhance your quality of sleep.

Give yourself permission to slow down this time of year.  The hustle and bustle of the holiday season are over.  It’s ok to say “no” to activities. Let this month be your lightest calendar load.  See if you can cut non-essentials for a bit!

There’s no day like today to start a new self-care routine.  Go light some candles, get in that yoga workout you’ve been putting off, order a few natural sleep products, or fill up a luscious bath.  You’ll be amazed at how much more productive and happy you are with a little bit of self-care.
