As we head into the winter cold and flu season, sometimes we need an easy (yet TASTY) on-the-go herbal remedy that can fit right into our pockets as we head out the door. Learn how to make three types of these herbal medicine balls: a) herbal lozenges, b) herbal drops and c) herbal pills. We’ll also create the remedies from three different forms of herbs: 1) tea, 2) tincture and 3) herbal powders. Not only that, since ‘tis the season, we’ll address three different applications for winter cold care: a) coughs, b) sore throat and c) immunity boosting. In addition, we cover basic materia medica for 11 different winter cold care herbs. Despite this class being jam-packed with information, it is well suited to both beginners and advanced students of herbal medicine. We have lots of hands-on creating and sampling of our creations, and you’ll take home a multi-paged detailed hand-out (so you can easily re-create these formulas at home) and take home a sample of the herbal pills. Yum!
