Urban Foraging:

Come and learn to identify the bounty of nutritious
and delicious foods in our alleyways and backyards. You will look
at our wild luscious weeds with new eyes and a new appreciation for
why they are here! We will forage throughout class and end with a
wild foods feast!

fascinating world of the honey bee and the many gifts that we
receive from these incredible workers! Honey is considered one of
the 3 great Celtic healers. Join us and discover the amazing
healing properties of honey for inside the body and out! Create a
honey face mask and an herbal infused honey. Taught by Candice
McClay who, with her husband Dan, tends to a bustling hive of 80,000
bees just down the street from MoonDance!
Teen Herb Camp:

Join us for a week of herbal learning and creating. We will take
herb walks, pamper our skin, learn how to make our own skincare
products and create delicious treats to eat like wild foods pesto
and honey rootbeer. We will connect to each other, the Earth and
the moon and blend special potions including anointing oils and
incense!

herbs! We will learn how to embrace botanical medicine as a way to
live a more connected and vibrant life. Each week we will focus on
a different body system and learn ways to treat the dis-eases of
that system through botanical medicines, aromatherapy, nutrition,
flower essences and more. We will learn how to create tinctures,
salves, infused herbal oils, tea blends and anointing oils.

Herbcraft: September 1-8, 2013

Warrior Woman Herbal Apprenticeship
October 2013- June 2014 (one weekend a month: Friday night 6-9PM and
Saturday 10AM-4PM plus at-home study and projects and 4 field

Pre-requisite: Herbcraft, Spiral Path or equivalent and approved
herbal study.
$995
for 9 month training includes all materials (Assigned books may need
to be purchased). Non refundable $200 deposit holds your spot (and
is applied to
tuition due in 3 installments).
The
Warrior Woman Herbal Apprenticeship offers an in-depth herbal
intensive to take the budding herbalist to the next level of
training and practice. We will meet once a month (plus occasional
field trips) to delve into medicine-making, herbal and holistic
remedies to address life stages and dis-ease, connect with herbal
plant spirits and integrate aromatherapy and flower remedies into
our practice. Each month you will have 3-4+ hours of at-home study
to include case studies, assigned book reading and development of
monographs. By the end of the program you will be monitoring and
assisting in our low-cost herbal clinic. The intention of the
Warrior Woman Herbal Apprenticeship is to create community
herbalists who confidently can take their practice into their own
circle of influence and vocation.

Supported Herbalism: The MoonDance CSH

our community-supported herbalistm (CSH). Just as you support
your local farm and commitment to eating well through a CSA, now you
can support your local herbalist and your own radiant wellbeing by
being a member of our CSH.
As a CSH
member you will receive a package of at least 4 herbal goodies each
month to seasonally nourish boday and soul (ranging from tinctures
and teas to facial products and aromatherapy colognes and spritzers).
In
addition to receiving luscious goods, as a member of our CSH you
will receive:

classes, 10% off MoonDance products everyday, invitation to CSH-only
events and specials throughout the year
$40 per month.
Save 10% if you prepay for 6 months or a year. $10 per month for

Community
Clinic Days
Learn ways to use herbs to enhance your overall well-being of body
and spirit. We will spend an hour with you, learning about your
lifestyle, issues of dis-ease and stress. You will leave with a
custom blended herb tea, a flower remedy and an essential oil blend-
all created with love and intention just for you, plus additional
recommendations including nutrition, tinctures, rituals and more.
$25
Community Clinic Days are: Sunday August 18 and Sunday September
22. Spaces are limited. Call to reserve your spot.
Facials at MoonDance
We are delighted to offer luscious facials using our holistic
skincare line! Each facial experience includes an aromatherapy
ritual, two customized fresh masks, a rejuvenating facial, scalp and
upper body massage. Offered by Stefanie Baldo, herbalist and
esthetician, exclusively at MoonDance Botanicals.
$70 for one hour.

Fairy Parties
We are passionate about
infusing love, light and magic into our lives. All parties are
customized to the specific age group (no one is too old to be swept
away by the mystery and magic!). For ages 5+.

New! Brighid’s Circle
There is a yearning to be in circle, to create medicines, practice
ritual, to connect with each other and the ancestral energies held
in sacred space. Join Brighid’s Circle and meet one Friday a month
for nine months. We will celebrate the seasons and the wheel of the
year, we will create a medicine or two and we will give and receive
the grace of circle, held in the embrace of Brighid, Irish goddess
of healing. This is an experiential journey (vs the certification
classes of Spiral Path and Warrior Woman). $350.
